Against the Grain is a one-hour interview-format show that airs on Pacifica station KPFA 94.1 FM in Berkeley, KFCF 88.1 FM in Fresno, California, and kpfa.org. The show features intelligent in-depth discussions about a variety of topics relevant to progressive thinking and activism, including political and economic theory, cultural criticism, and activist strategy.

The show is hosted by C.S. Soong with Associate Producer H.N. Yuen. Although ATG airs three days a week on KPFA, the producers are offering one hour per week to community radio stations. They can recommend the best, most provocative show aired each week, although stations will be free to choose among each week's offerings.
