Mon 3.22.10| Howard Zinn's Life and Ideas Part 1

Historian, activist, teacher, playwright -- Howard Zinn was these things and a great deal more. In the first part of an extended interview recorded shortly before his death, he spoke about his politicization as a young man, including as a pilot in WWII, his involvement in the Civil Rights movement, his opposition to the Vietnam War, and his role in bringing the Pentagon Papers to light.
